Log-in help...NetIDs....Seven Digit Alumni Numbers...etc.

At present, Cornell is making a transition in its website log-in systems.

SEVEN DIGIT ALUMNI NUMBER...for online dues, Alumni Directory access.

The old system relied on a SEVEN DIGIT identification number, located on the mailing label used for Cornell Alumni Magazine.  If you've lost this, contact the Cornell Alumni office, by phone 607-255-2390 or email.

Net ID: New system for all students, staff, and alumni.

The new system will involve a net ID and password, similar to the system used for all current Cornell students and staff.  The net ID is based on initials, and is associated with a cornell.edu email address, which can be forwarded to your preferred address.  The net ID can be issued in person, or you can request an activation code.

One immediate advantage of a Cornell net ID is full access to Cornell's extensive online library resources. For alumni services such as the Directory, you will still need the seven digit alumni number. (Of course, access to the Directory will require you to create yet another username and password.)
